Standalone Furniture
I design and build one-of-a-kind furniture pieces made to live with you for a long time. These are not catalog items or variations on a standard design — each piece is developed specifically for its purpose, scale, and setting.
My approach considers harmonious proportion, structure, and material. I focus on solid joinery, thoughtful details, and finishes that age well, whether the piece is meant to be quietly functional or a visual anchor in a room.
What I Build
Dining and conference tables
Desks and work surfaces
Storage furniture and casework
Benches, consoles, and sideboards
Beds and bedroom furniture
How the Process Works
We start with a conversation about how the piece will be used, where it will live, and what matters most — durability, size, visual weight, or all of the above. From there, I develop the design, select materials, and build the piece from start to finish.
Because I’m handling the entire process, details don’t get lost. What we discuss is what gets built.
Materials & Construction
I primarily work in solid hardwoods carefully chosen for stability and longevity. Joinery is engineered based on function and movement, not shortcuts. Finishes are chosen for both appearance and serviceability, with an emphasis on repairable, long-term solutions.
Good Fit Projects
Custom furniture is a good fit if you’re looking for:
A piece that doesn’t exist off-the-shelf
Something built to precise dimensions or a replica of a beloved museum-piece
Furniture that can be passed down as an heirloom
